When Scarlet recently passed away, Kaitlyn went into a serious depression and, in less than a week, had lost half a pound.  While this would not be an issue  for most dogs, it is very serious for a four pound Pom.

When talking to my friend, Christy, about it, she offered to send me two of her girls to help Kaitlyn through her grief (yes, absolutely dogs can grieve).  Lilly & KC have a wonderful story, (read about it here) and this is a  good opportunity for them as well.   It has been wonderful having them in part of my household and they are teaching Kaitlyn all about playing as a Pom and not a Mal :)
