"Sampson"

DOB:  September 2005

*** Sampson is not available.  He has his Forever Home right here with me and my other kids ***

Sam came to me  from a local Pom Rescue to be Kaitlyn's buddy when he was 19 months old.  They quickly bonded and are best friends and my alpha pair.  He is a very sweet, laid-back boy that is a joy to live with and best of all is only two months older than Kaitlyn and still loves to play with her and all of the other fur-kids.  He, especially, loves to race around the yard- or the living room- inviting the other dogs to chase him.  He gets a real charge out of having the whole pack in hot pursuit!  He is a joy to be around and will live his life as the beloved mascot and buddy of the show dogs.  He sleeps in bed with me and comes to every dog show, which he loves.  I'm pretty sure that he thinks that all the folks there are just for him to enjoy!

He gets so excited when I am packing up the motorhome, he knows that he is about to go traveling :)  When parked, he loves to lay on the dash, of the motorhome, and look down on the world (the motorhome is a basement model, so sits up pretty high).

Although Sam may look big, he is actually just over 7 lbs.  It's all that coat, makes him look bigger.

In the photo's below you may notice that Sam has a white chest and little white socks on his feet.  Sam is, what's known as, Parti-factored.  This means he carries the Parti-color gene (Click here to learn more about Parti-colored Poms).  However Sam is a rescue and therefore neutered, which he should be, as he has structural defects that mean he should NOT be bred.  That is just fine by me, he is a love bug and is my night-time foot warmer and warns me the moment that someone steps on the property or pulls in the driveway.  That boy could hear a pin drop!!  :)

This is what happens when you have kittens, even for a short time (rescues).  They teach the dogs all new skills...............
